Just found out that my publisher, Abrams, is planning on releasing Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules on January 15, 2008!
I'm excited, because that's four months earlier than I thought it would be released.
I'm hard at work on the second book. The cover art could change, but I'm pretty sure this is what we're going with. Let me know what you think!

I was wondering if you could write one book about a wimpy kid as me. It's the same words but the names are diffrent. Make Greg a girl named Jonlee and make sure she bullies me. Make Rodrick a guy named James. He only hangs out with Greg/Jonlee. And make sure all the chapters are the same. OH! And make sure Fregley is a guy named Bret. Make the Kid who gets whatever he wants a baby named Landen. I would be so delighted if tou could make it and make copies of it and send one of them to me.

I really love your books I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I was walking in sams club when I stummbled across it I looked at three pages and LOVED it so while we were at the store I read it and got up to page 94 and pleaded my mom for it luckily it was 8.27$
so we got it we went home and I finished it. To bad we didn't stay Sams longer. I love the funny pictures mostly Manny !
