I've been busily working on book two, and I'm happy to say that it has a title....
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules.
The cover will be dark blue, and will feature a picture of Rodrick pushing Greg.
Let me know what you think!
The book will either be out at the end of this year (2007) or in January of 2008.

What a great book! I have been reading this book to my 7th grade summer school class and they all seem to really enjoy it. This is the first time I have had students ask me where to find the book and question the cost. Way cool to get students motivated to read!!!

I can't wait for Book Two! I've been reading Wimpy Kid online, and just a few days ago saw Book One at Borders. . . had to buy it! I'm so excited!!!!!!! :)

Your book is a God send. My 9 year old does NOT enjoy reading, and after I discovered your book in the store and brought it home, he has been reading it non-stop night and day. Before falling asleep, reading it in the car, and actually reading it out loud to the boys in the carpool on their way to and from camp. Since then, his friends want a copy, I raved about it so much to the salesperson at the bookstore that he bought one, and us moms are wanting more more more of your books! I "borrow" the book from my son and later we share and laugh about our favorite parts of the journal. I have fallen in love with the characters, illustrations and perfect blend of humor. You have creatively captured the mind of my boy! I am gratefully laughing my way right back to the bookstore to wait for the arrival of your next book. Tell the publisher to hurry! A++++ and some extra thanks to you!

Go with the Blue Cover --- it is perfect! Love it don't change a thing! You can go with a Green cover for number 3 and yellow for number 4 -- GO with the primaries first! Then purple, orange and black and white.

I bought this for my son who doesn't like to read, he loves it and hasn't put it down. He has brought it to school to read and all his friends have bought it at the book fair. Is there anyway book two can come out in December for Christmas???? Thanks
