Hi everyone-
Finally, Book 3 is almost here! I'm very excited that the "green book" is almost in bookstores.
Some stores are having "launch parties" to celebrate the release of the new book. I hope that there's a launch party near you! I made up a bunch of games and activities, and I hope people have fun at these events.
I'll be heading off on a nationwide tour starting February 7th. Hope I'm coming to a city near you!

Diary of the wimpy kid is an amazing book i almost read all your books besides the green one
You should make a book about Rodrick getting in a lot of trouble or something, like Rodrick would take his van and drive over the speed limit a bunch of times and get arrested, or getting really bad grades and getting in trouble a lot and make Greg's father actually send him to millitary school. I already read book 3 and I LOVE it I can't wait for number 4!
I like this book.But Jeff Kennedy could have the books numbers 4 and 5 come out sooner than they`re expose to i wish i could get all the books.But the only one i own i own is the last straw.

I loved Book #3!! I thought he was definately going to go to military school. Good accident to get out of it!!Wish I could something off like that. The end was fantastic, Jeff!!!!! If he gets a girlfriend, the book would be so much better. And please tell me when the book will be out, and what the title will be.

I have kids at my library begging for your books-I have 3-4 copies of each, well except for this last new one, and they fly off the shelves. Thank you for such innovative writing-it is very appealing to such a variety of ages.

My 8th graders LOVED the series. I know it seems below them, but they enjoyed the read.
My 9 year aol daughter loved them as well! Will there be another one coming out soon? We own and have read all three. In fact, I bought a set for home and a set for school.

I am 22 years old...and I am INLOVE with Greg! I 14 yr old sister bought all of the books for me as birthday gifts from her book fair and I have already read every one of them. LOL! I am about to start on the do it yourself book. The last straw, which I have just finished reading this morning was EXCELLENT! Though, Greg had me so frustrated in the middle and to the end of the book. I WANT HIM TO WASH HIS CLOTHES! Gosh, wearing the same underwear for 3 days? lol! That burned me up! But, I love him for that and I am glad that he moved on from Holly. Mistaking him from Fregley. What an insult! lol!
Jeff, these books brighten my day and I enjoy them. I really hope you would reconsider your thoughts about stopping the series after book five. You have some really big going on here and the movie will be the icing on the cake. At least do 10 books. lol! You can do it! And stop right that. We would all be happy. But, ending at 5 is too soon. Heck, man, you are better than Harry Potter and Twilight put together!

I have read Diary Of A Wimpy the last straw and it is my favorite book ever made. All my classmates love it.I was the 3rd one to read it in my class. Today and yesterday my book fair was selling it, and lots of people bought it!

If The 1st book is about rowley, and the 2nd book is about rodrick, and the 3rd book is about his dad, then the 4th book should be about manny and the 5th book should be about his mom.

hi. this third book is the worse. the best was the blue book -rodrick rules. at least there was something to laugh about. in this new green book -last straw is nothing exciting. it seems the writer is emted himself and has no ideas.
