I'm excited about book 4: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. It comes out on October 12th!
It was a lot of fun to write this book, because for the first time, I took Greg out of the school setting and put him smack in the middle of summer vacation.

This book is so good! This is my frist day reading it and im about to read it again.
I just finished reading the book, and loved it, again! Every single one of these books are hilarious and witty! it always seems as if Greg never gets a girlfriend though! Maybe he should get a girlfriend, that he keeps. At least for a month anyways. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is one of my favourite book series, and hopefully will always be that way! Keep it up Jeff!

In your 2nd book, Greg said that Chirag can punch. I think Chirag did a one inch punch, which is a strong punch that is no more that six inches and is developed by Bruce Lee.

I think that you should write more books of the DIARY OF A WIMPY KID series. I think that because the first four are so interesting and that it'll be great to read more of the books from the DIARY OF A WIMPY KID if you ever decide to make more books. I also think that you should write an auto-biography about yourself either before you decide to stop making the DIARY OF A WIMPY KID series, or after you "retire" from the makings of writing books! Those are just some ideas that you can use if you want too.

Woohoo! I got the book!
I am glad that the 4th book is coming out.(In fact, it already is out!) Kudos to Jeff. But I just found out about the movie that a professional actor is playing the part of Greg. That upsets me very much because I tried out for the part and I thought I did rather well. I'm not trying to say I want this actor to split and let me take over(though that would be very nice!), I'm just saying, maybe there is an amatuer out there that is ten times better than a professional. As they say in the lottery, "Hey! you never know!"

Keep cranking out those Wimpy Kid books! My son LOVES them! This is the only series that he will actually sit down voluntarily and read. It works like magic for keeping him quiet in the car during long car trips! My only complaint: He reads them faster than you can write them!!

My son is 10 years old and a very reluctant reader who really hates reading, but the series of Diary of a Wimpy Kid books have been a true life saver for me. This is the only book that I can honestly say that my son has read these books from beginning to end. He said that he can relate to the main character Greg because he does silly stuff like a little boy would. Thank you Jeff Kinney!!!

I love these books! I read it online in computer class in 7th grade because funbrain.com was the only website we were allowed to visit. when they became actual books i got sooo excited! and now that they are becoming a movie i am even MORE excited!! I am in college now and asking off from work to go see the movie. haha not all the fans are pre-teen!!
